Privacy Policy
Last updated: 29 October 2026
YesHello ("we", "us") provides an AI enquiry-reply and online booking service for businesses at yeshello.shop. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
YesHello is a UK-based service. Contact us at hello@yeshello.shop.
What we collect
- Account and business details you give us at sign-up and onboarding: name, email, phone, business name, website, opening hours, services and similar setup information.
- Billing data: payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
- Enquiry and booking data: details that your customers submit through your YesHello booking or chat forms (such as name, contact details, message and appointment time), which we process on your behalf.
- Calendar data: if you connect a Google or Microsoft calendar (see below).
- Technical data: basic logs such as IP address and browser type, used for security and troubleshooting.
Google Calendar and other calendar connections
If you choose to connect your Google Calendar, YesHello requests access to your calendar so it can:
- read your busy and free times, so we only offer customers slots when you are available; and
- create, update and cancel the booking events that come from your YesHello booking page.
We do not use your calendar data for anything else. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to train generalised AI or machine-learning models, and no person reads it except where you ask us for support, it is needed for security, or the law requires it.
YesHello's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Calendar access tokens are stored encrypted. You can disconnect at any time from your YesHello portal or from your Google account permissions. When you disconnect or close your account, we delete the stored tokens.
How we use your data
- To provide the service: replying to enquiries, taking bookings, sending notifications and reminders.
- To set up and support your account.
- To take payment and manage your subscription.
- To keep the service secure and working properly.
Our lawful bases are performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running a secure service, and legal obligations. For your customers' data, we act as your data processor.
Who we share data with
Only with service providers who help us run YesHello, under appropriate agreements: our web hosting provider, Stripe (payments), Brevo (email delivery), Google or Microsoft (only if you connect a calendar), and our AI text provider, which generates enquiry replies. We never sell personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep account data while your account is active and for up to 12 months after it closes, unless the law requires longer (for example, billing records for tax purposes).
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, or object to or restrict how we use it, by emailing hello@yeshello.shop. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
We may update this policy and will show the new date at the top.
